Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Grid Heap, Inc. ("Grid Heap", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information for Dueglow. It does not combine policies for other Grid Heap products.
Dueglow is a countdown, focus, widget, cover image, and optional sync app for personal milestones.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, Dueglow may process account details, countdown records, focus timer settings, cover image choices, sync metadata, subscription status, support messages, and operational diagnostics.
Some features can be used without an account. Optional sync, subscription, notification, integration, or support features may require additional information so the selected feature can work.
2. Product Data
Your product data remains yours. Product data may include countdowns, titles, dates, cover image selections, focus timer records, synced settings, and related app content you create. We process it only to provide Dueglow, follow your instructions, maintain reliability, provide support, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
3. Local and Optional Cloud Features
When Dueglow stores data locally, that data stays on your device unless you choose a feature that sends it elsewhere. Optional cloud, sync, billing, notification, image, or integration features may transmit relevant data to our infrastructure or to selected providers.
4. Third-Party Providers
Dueglow may rely on app stores, payment processors, hosting providers, cover image providers, notification providers, and optional sync infrastructure. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use the related feature.
5. Automated and Smart Features
Dueglow may include smart defaults, reminders, cover image suggestions, or sync logic. These features process only the records and settings needed for the feature you choose to use.
6. Support and Communications
If you contact us, we may keep your message, contact details, product name, device or platform details, and related diagnostic context so we can respond and improve support. Please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is needed for the request.
7. Billing
Dueglow paid plans, app store entitlements, and related subscription features may be handled by app stores or payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive plan, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, invoice, and payment status information needed to operate paid features.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites and product surfaces may use essential cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, fraud prevention, billing state, and preferences. We do not use Dueglow product content for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If optional analytics or marketing tools are used on a marketing page, they are limited to website usage and campaign measurement and do not include Dueglow product records.
9. Logs and Security
We may collect limited operational logs such as request time, route, status code, device or browser class, and error diagnostics. We use these logs to maintain reliability, investigate abuse, and secure the service. We avoid logging sensitive content unless strictly required for a user-requested support investigation.
10. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Dueglow, with authorities when legally required, during a business transaction, or when needed to protect users, rights, safety, or security.
We may also share information with third parties when you direct us to do so, such as when you connect an integration, purchase through an app store, or ask us to troubleshoot a provider-specific issue.
11. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for product operation, support, billing, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Retention varies by feature, data type, and legal requirement.
When data is processed only to return an immediate product result, we aim to avoid retaining the underlying content unless retention is needed for the feature, support, security, billing, or legal compliance.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may be retained where required for security, billing, legal compliance, or legitimate operational needs.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy rights, you may have additional rights such as portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal. We will respond as required by applicable law.
13. Children
Dueglow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
14. International Processing
We may process information in countries where we or our providers operate. When information is transferred internationally, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the product and processing activity.
15. Service Providers and Links
Service providers may access personal information only to perform work for us or for features you enabled. Dueglow may link to third-party websites or services; their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
16. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through Dueglow when appropriate.
